European and UK legislation specifies that security measures must be in force at airports and airlines to protect passengers, cargo and property. Aviation Ground Security Training forms a significant part of these requirements. 

Ground Security Operative and Supervisor Training

TrainingTeam can deliver Aviation Ground Security training courses to meet your obligations under Directions issued to Airport Managers and Airline Operators as defined in the UK National Aviation Security  Programme(NASP).

We can provide Aviation Ground Security Operative training and Aviation Ground Security Supervisor training courses including x-ray, and NXCT (National X-ray Competence Test) as defined in the UK National Aviation Security Training Programme. (8 Nov 2008)

The course can be tailored to meet the specific needs of security staff.  It begins with the ‘core’ subjects and continues with:

  • the threat to aviation

  • objectives and organisation of aviation security

  • security communications

  • response to security incidents

  • legal powers and the role of the police

  • maintaining effective security and general awareness

Further topics and skills can be included as required.

Refresher Training for both Operatives and Supervisors must be undertaken at intervals not exceeding
13 months.

Air Crew Security Training

We provide Aircrew Security training courses for flight deck and cabin crew to Level 4. The basic course is half a day.

The Aircrew Security Level 4 training course takes three hours and covers :–
