Combined Dangerous
Goods by Air, Road & Sea - £755 +vat
Increasingly, our clients
are finding it necessary to be dangerous goods qualified in the three principle modes of transport - air, road and sea. To obtain these qualifications
by attending our scheduled courses, it has, until now, been necessary to attend each full course*. However, because of the considerable amount of common ground
covered by these courses, we have designed two one-day top-up sessions to follow-on
from a scheduled DG by Air course. This results in a useful reduction in cost and, perhaps more importantly for many clients, a reduction in the time a student is away from the workplace
(it saves three days in the classroom)
Combined Dangerous Goods courses
are scheduled throughout 2011 at Heathrow and Manchester and are held
Monday to Friday. offering a saving of £365 and 3 days less in the
classroom over the three full courses.
* This combined course has been available for some time as an in-house course. Please call us to discuss your requirements if an in-house course is better suited to your needs.
Notes:
Students requiring
only
a DG by Road Certificate should not attend
this course but book on a full 3-day DG by Road course.
Similarly, students requiring only a DG by Sea Certificate should
attend a full 2- day DG by Sea course.
On passing the end-of-course exams, three
separate certificates will be issued (including a DG by Air Certificate
fully recognised by the UK CAA)
** Normal revalidation rules will apply to each certificate
**
Dangerous Goods Sea and Road ‘Top-Up’ courses
The 1-day DG by Sea ‘Top-up’ and the 1-day
Road 'Top-up' courses are also available to anyone who already holds a
Dangerous Goods by Air Certificate. (Note: If you do not hold a TrainingTeam DG by Air Certificate you will need to provide a copy of your certificate at time of booking.)

Dangerous Goods by Air Road and Sea - Refresher Training
Dangerous Goods by Air Revalidation Course
Certificates may be re-validated by attending a Dangerous Goods by Air Re-validation course (two days, including exam).
Please note that, because the revalidation course starts with the assumption that students have a good working knowledge of the Regulations, TrainingTeam recommends that candidates who are NOT frequent and confident users of the Regulations consider revalidating their qualification by attending a further three-day certificate course.
In order to maintain continuity
of your qualification, you should revalidate prior
to expiry of your old certificate. If you
complete revalidation training within the 3 month
period BEFORE your certificate expires, your new
certificate will be dated from the expiry date of the
old.
DG by Road Revalidation
ADR Chapter 1.3 (1.3.2.4) also requires that " …training
shall be periodically supplemented with refresher training to take account of changes in regulations."
Holders of a valid Dangerous Goods by Road Certificate may attend the one-day ‘top-up’ DG by Road course to revalidate. Please provide a copy of the current certificate at the time of
booking. It is suggested that candidates consider refresher training at approximately 2-year intervals.
Dangerous Goods by Sea Retraining
The IMDG Code makes it clear that the initial training should be "… periodically supplemented with refresher training …". Holders of a valid DG by Sea Certificate may attend the one day ‘top-up’ course for retraining. Please provide a copy of the Certificate at the time of booking. It is suggested that candidates consider retraining at approximately 2-year intervals.
