Refresher Training
You must undertake
refresher/revalidation training for each element to maintain your
qualifications. For the DG by Air component, this must be within 2
years (you can undertake revalidation training within the 3 months
BEFORE your certificate expires and have your new certificate dated to
start as the old one expires). For Road and Sea, there is no set
time for refresher training but you are required to undertake sufficient
refresher training to keep abreast of current regulations. We
recommend refresher training every 2 years (the ADR and IMDG Regulations
are updated every 2 years).
For
refresher training we recommend either:
1) Repeating the 5-day Combined Dangerous Goods course, or
2) Attending a 2-day DG by Air Revalidation followed by days 4 & 5 of a
Combined course (Road and Sea)
