International legislation specifies that security measures be in force at airports and airlines to protect passengers, cargo and property. Aviation SecurityTraining forms a significant part of these regulations.

TrainingTeam can deliver Aviation Security training courses to meet your obligations under Directions issued to Airport Managers and Airline Operators as defined in the UK National Aviation Security Training Programme.

We provide Aviation Security Level 1 and Level 2 training courses including x-ray, and NXCT (National X-ray Competence Test).

The Aviation Security Level 1 training course is five days, including on-site x-ray practicals.

The course covers;  the threat to aviation; objectives and organisation of aviation security; security communications; response to and reporting of security incidents; legal powers and the role of the police; national and airport security programmes; access control, AMD, and HHMD; searching people, passengers, baggage and vehicles; regognition of explosives, incendiary devices, and dangerous goods; x-ray, EDS; and TIP equipment and operation; searching and controlling access to aircraft; assessment and tests.

The Aviation Security Level 2 training course is two days. Students must already have attended a Level 1 course.

The course covers; staff induction training; searching of people, bags, items, areas,aircraft and vehicles; the role of the supervisor in maintaining standards; identification of prohibited articles; role of technology; responding to a security incident; assessment and tests.

Aviation Security Level 1 and 2 Refresher training must be undertaken at intervals not exceeding 13 months.
